A couple of friends are coming to visit us next month, so our number one project for August is to redo the guest bedroom.
After my Dad's passing, I had brought back with me a lot of his things and they were "stored" in the guest bedroom. Also this room is were all the furniture from we were single ended up. The room is not very big and it had too many furniture pieces.
When we first bought our house,the guest bedroom was the first place were we tested the paint color. It turned out to be too dark. That room has a only one side window, so I always felt it needed a much lighter color.
So this week I've been selling all of the furniture on craigslist except for the bed.
Whatever I make on those pieces, will be my budget for the makeover.
I'm really excited!
I haven't really decided what colors I want to use for this space. I've been getting tons of inspiration from Pinterest.
